In Tadworth, we delivered the groundwork and structural base for a rear extension, constructing the build up to damp proof course (DPC) level — a protective barrier built into the walls to prevent moisture from rising up from the ground into the brickwork and interior of the house. The project included the installation of all underground drainage systems, a reinforced concrete slab, and cavity blockwork to the required height. The works provided a solid, level, and fully compliant base, ready for brickwork and superstructure construction above DPC.
